From your morning coffee to a sunset you'll never forget, here's how we'd spend a day on the mountain.
Morning in the Mountains
Start your day with a fresh coffee and breakfast from the Gold Medal Cafe before heading up the Eagle Chair. Our Scenic Rides offer sweeping views of Howe Sound, Vancouver, and the surrounding Coast Mountains, making it the perfect way to kick off your adventure.
Once you're at the top, choose a hike that matches your pace. Looking for a leisurely walk with incredible scenery? Or ready to explore a longer mountain trail? When you're finished, enjoy a relaxing ride back down on the Eagle Chair or add a little excitement with a trip on the Eagle Coaster before grabbing lunch on the Crazy Raven patio.
Looking for an easy stroll?Raven Ridge Trail
Raven Ridge Trail is a beginner friendly, 15-minute walk to one of the best viewpoints on the mountain. Starting at the top of Eagle Chair beside Summit Snacks, the trail winds through alpine wildflowers and follows alongside the Mountain Coaster before leading you to the Raven Ridge lookout, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains.

Ready for a longer adventure?Cabin Lake Loop
A versatile loop that passes through old-growth forest and along Cabin Lake- a scenic alpine lake popular for swimming in the summer months. Well-suited for hiking and trail running in summer, and snowshoeing in winter. In the summer guests can purchase a scenic ride lift ticket on the Eagle Express to ride up and down, eliminating the steep hike in and out.

Active Afternoon
If you're looking for a challenge, tackle the Eagle Ascent via Black Mountain Trail. Starting from the base of Eagle Chair, this rewarding climb winds through beautiful alpine terrain before reaching gorgeous views of the Howe Sound. Best of all, there's no need to hike back down. Simply hop on the Eagle Chair and enjoy a scenic ride back to the plaza.
After your hike, keep the fun going with a round of axe throwing before rewarding yourself with an ice-cold drink and a bite to eat on the Crazy Raven patio. There's no better place to kick back after a day on the trails.

Sunset Date Night
Golden hour hits differently on the mountain. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, Cypress becomes one of the North Shore's most spectacular places to spend the evening. Whether you're planning a date night, catching up with friends, or simply soaking in the views, it's the perfect way to end your day.
Sunset Scenic Ride
Take a ride to Cypress' highest viewpoint. Travel up the Lions and Sky Chairs to the summit of Mount Strachan and take in breathtaking 360° views as the sky transforms with the colours of sunset.
Sunset Picnic
Everything tastes better with a mountain view. Pack your own picnic or pick up fresh food from the Gold Medal Cafe before your ride or grab something from the Alpine Outpost at the top of Sky Chair. Find your favourite viewpoint, spread out a blanket, and enjoy dinner surrounded by the Coast Mountains.
Live Music
Cap off your mountain adventure with live music every Friday evening. Grab your crew and relax while local musicians provide the soundtrack to a memorable night in the mountains.
