SkiMo Canada presents the first Cypress Skimo Race

Inspired by the atmosphere of classic European skimo races, the Cypress Skimo Race is about more than times and results. It’s about shared starts, cheering from the skin track, and a tight community coming together on the mountain. This is the first edition of what we hope will grow into a lasting event — built locally, shaped by the skimo community, and open to everyone who loves moving uphill on skis. Come race, support, and help set the tone for what this can become. Race options are: - Vertical Race on Saturday 28th Feb 2026. (700mD+, 3.7km ) - Individual Race on Sunday 1st March 2026. (1500/1800mD+, 16km)
