Kathmandu World’s Biggest Hike

Kathmandu World’s Biggest Hike, taking place Saturday, August 30th at 11 am at Cypress Mountain. With a goal of attracting up to 2,000 participants – which will break the Guinness World Record for the “most people hiking simultaneously”. This FREE event invites participants on a scenic 4-kilometre hike from the mountain’s base to the top of the Sky Chair, where stunning panoramic views await. Open to anyone comfortable with moderate hiking terrain. Kathmandu and Cypress have worked together to select the hiking route designed to handle the volume of hikers and we specifically have avoided placing the route on any environmentally sensitive areas.
