Happy Easter! No April fools here, only smart people who squeeze in a ski before Easter Dinner 🙂
Today was onesie day too, which was so fun. Seeing the variety of onesies from retro ski suits (like my find from Sports Junkies) to pajamas was very entertaining.
It is hard to believe that it’s is spring, and Cypress had about 70 cm of new snow this past week. So much snow still up here, and we are nearing the end. The weather was interesting today, with a mix of cold and actually snowing, to sunny and warm, to looming storm clouds.
It occurred to me today that I have spent the past two significant religious holidays, Christmas Day and now Easter Sunday, on the mountain. As a Christian, I know that you can find church in many places. I feel blessed to have my church here sometimes. Fresh air, wilderness . . . spirituality in nature.
We got to meet Mara today, the Food and Beverage Manager, who is continually working at improving both the food and the drinks for us to enjoy. We appreciate it.
