Cypress Mountain is Canada's most popular Cross Country destination, with a respected Ski School to match the beautiful and varied trail system. We offer a variety of lesson programs from single day clinics to multi-session programs for skiers of all ages and abilities.
Learn to Cross Country Classic Ski
The ALTS program features a progressive skill level system to accommodate all abilities and experience levels, form a total beginner to intermediate. This popular program includes five 1.5 hour lessons (4 classic and a 5th bonus Skate lesson) with five full day trail tickets, and Classic equipment rentals. Plus, as a bonus, we’ll include a Cross Country Starlite NiteTimer Season Pass, valid 7 nights a week from 3 pm to close.
The ALTS also includes Classic equipment rentals for your lessons and bonus Starlite NiteTimer nights. Once you purchase this Classic Ski program, click here to see some important information and how to pre-book your lessons.
Lessons must be booked a minimum of 24 hrs in advance, check-in time one hour prior to start of lesson. Specific lesson times and rentals cannot be guaranteed without advanced booking. Skate ski rental is only available on skate lesson day.

Additional lesson times may be available. Please call 604.922.0825 for further Cross Country programs at Cypress Mountain. Flexible lesson times and dates valid until March 25th, 2007. To ensure your place in a lesson, please pre-book at least 24hrs in advance. All cancellations require minimum 24hrs notice otherwise a $15 fee will be applied automatically. Programs, once purchased, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please Note: The Adult Learn to Skate Program and the Adult Learn to Classic Ski Program are not a Seasons Pass but a Ski School Lesson package. The Nitetimer that comes with the program is a BONUS to help you practice what you have learnt in your lessons. Therefore the Adult Learn to Programs do not qualify for the Season Pass Guarantee and is Non transferable and Non refundable. Full details of the Guarantee are on the Passes Page.

Skate technique has taken the Cross Country scene by storm and with these multi-day clinic series with our top instructors you'll be an expert in no time. The Adult Learn to Skate Ski offers 5 progressive lessons 1.5 hour lessons to learn all the skate techniques. Plus, as a bonus, we’ll include a Nordic Starlite NiteTimer Season Pass, valid 7 nights a week from 3 pm to close. The ALTS Skate also includes Skate equipment rentals for your lessons and bonus Starlite Nitetimer nights, rentals are not guaranteed.

Cross Country Kids Camp
Mountains of fun for children, from beginner to intermediate. Includes 4 consecutive progressive lessons. 2.5 hr lesson time from 9.30am to 12 pm. Includes a hot chocolate break at our historic Hollyburn Lodge (built in 1926).
