Dear Skiers, Riders and Sliders,
Thank you to all our valued guests who joined us for an epic winter season at Cypress Mountain!
This season saw huge changes for Cypress, with 9 new runs equaling a 40% expansion of terrain with a newly relocated quad chair on Raven Ridge, a new high speed "Lions Express" Quad Chair, a brand new state of the art snowmaking system, a new in-ground 22 foot wall super pipe, completed and operational 2010 venues, ski run improvements to Bowen Face, Lower Rainbow, P.G.S, Fork and additional lighting on PGS and the Super Pipe.
Next season you will see the second phase of Cypress Mountain's transformation, with the construction of a new timber frame 48,000 square foot base lodge, scheduled for completion in December.
Cypress held its first ever world cup event in February! The top Aerial and Mogul Athletes from around the world came to Cypress to compete on the Official Freestyle Skiing Venue for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Cypress is proud these Canadian Athletes not only made the podium during the competitions but can also now call Cypress Mountain "home."
As we wrap up this record setting snow season, we thank you again for joining us and we encourage you to stay tuned to www.cypressmountain.com for mountain updates and Season Pass early bird rates for the 2008/2009 winter season (available in mid summer).
Cypress Mountain is proud to continue to provide our Skiers, Riders & Sliders with the most ski runs, most vertical, most terrain and best snow conditions on the highest skiing and riding peak of Vancouver's Legendary North Shore Mountains.
Thanks Again and we hope to see you all on the slopes next season.
Cypress Mountain, Vancouver's Only Big Mountain Experience!
